EU Funding Supports Our Innovation Project on NGS-Based Blood Group Typing

We are excited and proud to announce that our latest innovation project has received co-funding from the European Union through the ERDF programme (“Funding of research and development projects in companies”).

This support enables us to advance the development of an NGS-based long-amplicon blood group typing kit: RBC-NGStype ® BloodSeq. The project aims to address one of the key challenges in transfusion diagnostics: reliable allele identification in complex blood group systems such as Rhesus and MNS. Conventional methods often reach their limits – particularly in the presence of hybrid alleles and limited NGS phasing. Our approach is designed to overcome these barriers and deliver clear, unambiguous typing results.

We are grateful for the trust and support placed in us and look forward to sharing the first results as the project progresses.
