EU Funding Supports Our Innovation Project on NGS-Based Blood Group Typing

We are excited and proud to announce that our latest innovation project has received co-funding from the European Union through the ERDF programme (“Funding of research and development projects in companies”).

This support enables us to advance the development of an NGS-based long-amplicon blood group typing kit: RBC-NGStype ^® BloodSeq. The project aims to address one of the key challenges in transfusion diagnostics: reliable allele identification in complex blood group systems such as Rhesus and MNS. Conventional methods often reach their limits – particularly in the presence of hybrid alleles and limited NGS phasing. Our approach is designed to overcome these barriers and deliver clear, unambiguous typing results.
